ZagoriLodge is not a hotel. It is the house of Sofia Dragoumi's great-great-grandfather, a wool merchant who walked his goods to Igoumenitsa twice a year between 1864 and 1891. The building stayed in the family for five generations. By 2013 it had nearly fallen down. Sofia and her husband Andreas Liakos spent four winters bringing it back, and they opened it to guests in May 2018.
